My name is Sara and I’m a volunteer from the United States. I created this campaign on behalf of my friend Durgham and below are his words:
I am Durgham, the eldest brother in a family of eight. I bear the responsibility of supporting my family amidst the difficult circumstances we live in here in Gaza, including a stifling blockade and the lack of even the most basic necessities for a decent life.
Despite my young age, I do my best to provide my family with what we can live with dignity.
I don’t have much, but I do have a heart that doesn’t despair, and I hope that our voices will reach those who can help us, whether through support or even by sharing our story.
I am not the head of a family, but I am the brother who tries to be the support.
